Let Them Eat Pizza!

Cleaning yesterday went brilliantly well. I had done most of the regular tasks in about an hour and then had time to watch an episode of Pretty Little Liars while I waited for the freshly mopped kitchen floor to dry. I made a lovely grilled cheese of turkey and pepperjack for lunch and then set forth on tackling cleaning the fridge.


I didn't take a before picture, but it was crowded full of out-of-date stuff. It was otherwise clean, but I washed the shelves and drawers, because when I do something I go big or go home.

 As you can see, the fridge is now pretty empty. This is because I have been trying to plan a menu for the week (what do you mean it's already Wednesday?) in order to go grocery shopping. Remember when I went shopping hungry? We ended up buying two Red Baron Pizza and Sides (frozen mozzarella sticks and wyngz), two quarts of ice cream (if you bought the pizza, the ice cream was free with a coupon), Zesty fries, a box of Grape Nuts new granola cereal (that sample lady could sell like whoa), and a bag of Tyson wyngz (when they spell wings wrong, you know it is SO healthy).

Basically, the freezer was full of crap and now we have eaten it all. I wanted to go grocery shopping yesterday, but instead we ordered a pizza (apparently we are filling our pizza quota as the average American).

I am hoping that today, besides cleaning house more, that I will get my butt up and go to the grocery store so I can start wowing you with my cooking skills (or entertaining you with the lack thereof).
